RESUMEN. En julio de 1936 se produjo un golpe de estado que derivó en la Guerra Civil Española. La localidad de Báguena pronto acató el nuevo mandato nacido de las armas. Tras el alzamiento militar algunos aspectos de la vida cotidiana, sobretodo relacionados con el trabajo o las prácticas religiosas, se mantuvieron en un régimen de continuidad, sin embargo en Báguena ocurrieron hechos que merecen la pena ser rescatados y puestos en conocimiento de los interesados en estos temas.
ABSTRACT. In July 1936 there was a coup that led to the Spanish Civil War. The village of Báguena soon accepted the new order born out of the armed conflict. After the military uprising some aspects of daily life, especially related to work or religious practices, were maintained as before. Certain actions however occurred in Báguena that are worth being rescued and placed in the knowledge of the people interested in such matters.
