RESUMEN. Nieves Arnal Agustín nació en Calamocha. El artículo recoge abundantes testimonios orales y escritos sobre su personalidad, trayectoria humana y profesional, caracterizadas por su espíritu de superación. Ocupó cargos directivos en la enseñanza, también de ámbito nacional. Ejerció su actividad profesional en la enseñanza pública y en la privada, sobre todo en Barcelona. Con espíritu emprendedor, se destacan sus aportaciones sobre la enseñanza personalizada y el protagonismo de los padres en la educación.
ABSTRACT. Nieves Arnal Agustín was born in Calamocha. The article collects a large number of oral and written testimonies about her personality, personal and professional career, both characterized by her spirit of overcoming. She held management positions in educational institutions, also at the national level. Her professional activity took place both in public and private education, mainly in Barcelona. Along with her entrepreneurial spirit, here we highlight her contributions in the field of personalized learning and her stress in the role of parents in education.
