RESUMEN. La importancia de la educación y la sensibilización ambiental de la población, tanto local, como visitante, en el entorno de la Reserva Natural de la Laguna de Gallocanta, es una cuestión innegable.
En el espacio natural existe un Centro de Interpretación que informa al visitante sobre los valores naturales de la Laguna, pero hay un tipo de información, de visión de la laguna, que va más allá de sus valores científicos y ambientales. Los cuentos, la narrativa, la literatura en general, representan un formato o herramienta que, de una forma “distinta”, acercan no sólo a la población infantil, también a los adultos, otros valores, visiones y aprendizajes que hacen que los cuentos (y la literatura en general) sean herramientas clave en la educación ambiental).
ABSTRACT. The importance of education and environmental awareness of the population, both local and visitor, in the surroundings of the Gallocanta Lagoon Nature Reserve, is an undeniable question.
In the natural space there is an Interpretation Center that informs the visitor about the natural values of the Lagoon, but there is a type of information, of vision of the lagoon, that goes beyond its scientific and environmental values. The stories, the narrative, the literature in general, represent a format or tool that, in
a “different” way, brings not only the child population, but also adults, other values, visions and learning that make stories (and literature in general) key tools in environmental education.
