RESUMEN. La Primera Guerra Carlista fue un conflicto armado que afectó a la Comarca del Jiloca a lo largo de la década de 1830. Durante esta etapa, tanto el ejército isabelino como el ejército carlista tomaron recursos de los pueblos de la región, para mantener a sus tropas. De esta manera, generaron una deuda en los ayuntamientos locales que tardó años en reembolsarse. En el presente estudio se han revisado documentos oficiales de ventas de terreno público, correspondientes a los años de la Primera Guerra Carlista con el fin de establecer las repercusiones económicas, sociales y ecológicas que tuvo este conflicto. Los documentos consultados han sido los Libros de Acuerdos y Resoluciones del Ayuntamiento, el Archivo de Protocolos Notariales de Calamocha y el Boletín Oficial de ventas y bienes nacionales de la provincia de Teruel. Los resultados muestran que el Ayuntamiento de Calamocha enajenó patrimonio municipal subastando tierras de propios y en forma de tierras del común incultas.
ABSTRACT. The First Carlist War was an armed conflict that affected to the
Comarca del Jiloca throughout the decade of 1830. Along this phase, both isabeline
and carlist army took resources to supply their troops from villages of the region.
They produced a economical debt in the local administration which delay many years to repay. In the herein study we have inspected official disposal documents of public terrains, dating from the First Carlist War, with the purpose of stablish the economic, social and ecological impact of this conflict. The consulted documentos belong to the “Libros de Acuerdos y Resoluciones del Ayuntamiento”, the “Archivo de Protocolos Notariales de Calamocha” and the “Boletín Oficial de ventas y bienes nacionales de la provincia de Teruel”. The results show that the Town Council of Calamocha transfered municipal terrains to private people from the village.
